The hat looks like it was well worn so I'm guessing Brooksie bummed around in it for a while after

The style was first used by the Orioles 12 years after Brooks retired. At best it's an Old Timers Game hat...(or from a Fantasy Camp).

I believe that New Era Tag is from the 1990s.

I won this item at the recent Brooks Robinson auction. It went extremely low because there was no concern over whether this was a gamer from his playing days or from an old timer's game. Either way, I'd love some help to identify the year. (sorry for the cruddy scans- I'm at work)
