Question/Info needed on a bat -- Bernie Williams?

I just picked up this bat.

I believe the dating period would be from 1983-1985. Is that correct?
Bernie was drafted in 1985.

Does anyone think this bat could be a Bernie bat?

The numbers "51" are on both ends. I have no clue if he wore that number in the minors. I saw one picture of him wearing "25" for one year.

If anyone has any info at all, I would appreciate it.
