and if you've seen Dick Pole. The guy has a nice sized gut. I'd love to see someone photomatch that jersey on him.

What do you guys think of the Dick Pole jersey BPH has on ebay. No way he ever used it in a mound visit in a game. I don't even think he would be allowed to wear it. Maybe as a under shirt or something. I've never seen a player or a coach wear a cut off jersey like this in a game.

Seems like Ball Park Heroes made their mark once again with a good amount of jerseys and some quality bats.

Josh is a big collector, not somebody trying to flip things for huge profit! Can't get upset at a collector who is grabbing stuff for their own collection.

Would upset me a bit for the few dealers that have those $100 jerseys up to $250 and beyond now the day after Redsfest.

    Hey Guys,

Just out of curiosity, could anybody tell me what the "guy loaded down with jerseys" looked like? Just a little worried it might be me, and as AWA85 can attest to, I am certainly no dealer. Just a collector who wanted to get in early and grab what he could.

I did manage to snag some decent stuff though.

    Thanks,
    Josh

My son and I made our first trip to RedsFest this year. Overall it was a fun trip. We entered the door about 4:05 and headed straight for the game-used stuff. Like everyone else has reported, we also saw the guy already loaded down with jerseys, Votto bats, etc. We picked up one of the Dunn $100 bats and a Ryan Hanigan jersey. Interesting story about the Hanigan jersey. I first picked out a road/gray jersey. When my son was getting it signed I noticed that his name was spelled with two n's on the jersey. I also noticed that the jersey he was wearing at the table had only one n. I thought it might be an "error" jersey and still pretty cool. So I asked him if he had ever worn a two-n jersey. He said "No, I never wore this". I took it back to the game-used store and they let me swap it for a one-n red jersey. So apparently the Reds will label jerseys as game-worn that aren't.

Meet and greet was Saturday during the awards 2-4. It was very nice only about 25 people in the room.Players would come in and you could talk, get pictures and autographs. The players asked more questions of you than of them. They sat around and joked and was very laid back. Did not have any problems as all the players were nice as could be and would sign as much as you would give them. For me it was my little girl and giving her history of the Reds and alot of the players she already knew. She loves getting autographs and her most prized posession from Redsfest was the ball she had signed by "Gapper" the mascot!!!!

Went to Redsfest with my daughter and wife. Wanted Votto to sign his Louisville Bats jersey but lines were too long and when you have a 8 year old with you it's all about her. Still have his autographed spring training jersey with MLB holo and game used minor league bat.Had tickets for the meet and greet. Check out the pics...Also have a bat on ebay autographed by the team for the Ricky Stone auction check it out ebay item #160305011796
