I have dealt with the seller as I believe a few others on the board.He is a good guy not saying the Boggs is legit but shoot him an message through ebay expressing your concerns..

Thanks for the info. I have seen a road 87 Boggs with this patch but it was tagged as an 87 jersey... I would proceed with caution on this Boggs.

All I can say is, I've owned a couple of "common" Red Sox jerseys that were tagged 86 but had the 87 patch on them. I did not have a issue with the jerseys because they were common players and if I remember correctly, my jerseys also had number changes.

That's the Boggs jersey on eBay... his story doesn't match up though... it needs major research.

Is it possible that this would be put on a game used 86 sox jersey. Tag says 86 and seller says received as used in 86 (received in spring training 87) but the patch dates it as 87.

Any thoughts...?
