That makes it real hard to ask serious questions about the whole game-used topic (in fear that you may be accused of being Barrack Obama, or someone, trying to promote.) ITS A SHAME!

"US", as in the other forum member's that might be interested in some of the items or discussing them.

"US", as in the junior members or new-bee's, who would just like to hear what these so called "professionals" here have to say about AMI and their items, before we(the new-bee's) decide to bid on an item.

I think some of you read way too far into my original reason for posting this thread in the first place. There is no rhyme or reason for accusing someone of being a wolf in sheep's clothing. Maybe you should just ask me who I am and why I started this thread. I'd be happy to share!

Don't forget, American Memorabilia also shill bids the price up, and plainly states it in their auction rules.

It's a shame you have to bid against the owner and the auction house too.

I personally have no interest in doing that, regardless of what the item is.

I'm a long time reader, and just recently signed up. Minus the riff-raff between some of the members here, I enjoy keeping up to date on Game-Used discussions via this site. Thanks for all of the education and knowledge in your respective fields.

Now, on to the discussion. American Memorabilia just opened their most recent auction, and it is LOADED with football game-used items. The Walter Payton, HOLY GRAIL of all game used, jersey has got to be the best. Any guesses on the final price? Lots of old, vintage game-worn stuff. Check it out, and tell us what you think.

That assumes YOU assume everything they offer on the backs of those sexy babes in their catalogues is legit. Prior discussions here, however, would indicate you should NOT assume that.

I assume nothing without having all the info. However, the "skanks" are a nice selling point. If they came with the equipment, legit or not, I'd probably buy more stuff from AMI - LOL!

In all reality, I have always been weary about buying game used unless its handed to me from the player/agent or equip. manager. AMI and their babes make for good forum discussion though.
