Current Rangers Style Vs. Vintage Style

I've seen the new style of Rangers Uniforms, and I'm just going to come out and say this: I like the Nolan Ryan era best. The RANGERS script across the front of the jersey was, for me, the best design for the jersey.

I prefer some of the throwback jerseys for baseball teams, the Brewers also have good throwbacks as well, so do the Phillies, and the Rangers should do a retro alternate, from the Ryan era.

Now I know that some disagree with me, so I will include a poll:

72-82 is very broad. My favorite style is 72-74, epecially the road grey. I do not like the Ryan era "Dodgers jerseys." Besides the look, the are very thin. The new jerseys are nice, just wish they said "Rangers" instead of Texas. They are definately better in person.

I have read that then manager Bobby Valentine was the one behind the Rangers wearing those Dodger style jerseys.

That is true, the did not wear them until mid season 1985....after he was hired.
