Another thing that grinds my gears is when someone post a legit game used item and doesn't put "Game Used" in the title. I missed a bat awhile ago because of that. This is like therapy
I get frustrated in general when anything that isn't game used gets put in that category. Have you ever looked up game used helmets and found helmet cases? It's all over. It is extremely frustrating!
I do as well but if you put -card in the description, it helps filter some out.
I think the cards should be listed in the card category not the game used. Takes up too much room and I get tired of trying to skim through them. I will have to try the -card thing. Thanks!
Re: Cards in eBay's game used memorabilia category
What is irritating about the whole situation is that the sellers who put their trading cards in the Game Used Memorabilia category don't even think they are doing anything wrong. They assume this category is for game used trading cards.
What I do not understand is that it has gotten so out of hand that when I list game used sports memorabilia, the categories for the drop down menus now show items such as: "Professionally Graded" which refers to trading cards.
It bugs me, too, but at least the Seller has some kind of half-assed excuse for listing those there; what about the people who list stuff like magazines, ballpark souvenirs, commemorative items, and other stuff that could in no way be described as "game used" anything, in that category? Or the ones who list basketball and hockey jerseys in "Baseball"? It just doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in a Seller when they don't even know (or care) what category they're listing their stuff in.
Does anybody else get frustrated at all the cards listed in and clogging up the game used memorabilia category??? It drives me nuts. In my opinion, cards should only be permitted in the cards section with perhaps their own sub category.

Bothers the living daylights out of me. In order to truly filter out all the cards, you need about forty words after the - sign, not just card.
They really, really should be in their own category.
