    Tom,
I think you missed this entry:
    11/29/04 M125 M272 NONE 34.5 IN 35.0 OZ B 2 EA

The last "C" in C243C means the end is cupped.

"WALK" and "SMITHB" are finishes. There is a picture in both the latest Malta book and The Crack of the Bat book that shows the different types of finishes. My understanding is a Walker finish is a natural handle with a hickory barrel and a Smith finish is a black finish that has been dipped in urethane several times. I'll see if I can find some pics for you.

I have a Garko M9 M272. I didnt see that on the list. Am I just not understanding how these models are listed? I got so excited to see all these replies...I should have combined all of these posts.

    Another question:
Whats the difference between a C243 and a C243C? In the finish type, whats "WALK" and "SMITHB" refer to?

    Thanks again,
    Tom

    Brian,
I cant tell you how grateful I am for this information. Its way more than I expected. I wish there was something I could do for you in return. I do a lot of football related stuff with the Steelers. If you ever need anything, give me a holler.

Since the order is dated 11/29/04 and a totally different model than what he's ever ordered my GUESS would be it's a training bat...

I was refering to the weight and length

I haven't seen too many bats that are heavier than they are long even if it is only .5 ounces

    Hi Chris,
Are you referring to the NONE? I am pretty sure the NONE means no finish.

Give me a while, I leave tonight for ST and that was a lot of typing. I can't copy and paste out of our system.
