I'm not sure I want to get into the middle of this, especially since I'm not an autograph expert. But, I have seen several Mac signatures and I have to agree that Bobby has a point about the #25 notation. I attended the Winter Warm Up in January 1998 where Mac signed hundreds of autographs. Every one I saw, including the one I got on a mini-helmet, had the STL 25 notation. He did that pretty consistently through 1998. In 1999, he almost always wrote 70 after his name; in 2000, he wrote 2000; and in 2001, he wrote 01' (always putting the apostrophe in the wrong place, after the 1). I've never seen a legit Mac Cardinals bat that had a #25 notation. It's certainly inconsistent with the norm.

I had Randall take a look at the sig as well on Roger's. He was no comfortable with it... I'm no expert, but it is inconsistant and I do see a difference to those that Jeff and Bobby have.

No it isnt, the 2000 below is cracked and has a Cardinals Care LOA and reciept with original purchase price of $3000. I purchased it from the person who paid that from a live auction from the Cardinals Care. The 2001 is covered in seam marks, the best Mac bat I have ever seen in person.

Here is some Rookie or Pre Rookie Bats
Bat 1 is a minor league bat. I have a written letter from the bat boy on how he obtain the bat.Also he provided me with a team pitcher with him in the team pitcher.The Provenance is solid.Also has a PSA/DNA COA.

Bat 2 could be consider another minor league/major league bat. 1986 Rawlings signed gamer..
