I find it interesting how through out most players careers they go through a few model bats find one they like and usually stick to it for a while because that is what they are comfortable with.
Not Ruben Sierra..... I have seen him use so many different models and manufacturers, that it's not even funny.
So just out of sheer curiousity I happend to be looking through some Robinson Cano photos through the passed 2 seasons and was looking at the types of bats he used. Did he prefer a particcular model? Manufacturer? Or way to prep his bat?
Answers seems to be none of the above.
I have seen him use so far:
Rawlings
Marucci
Zinger
Controlling the game
Louisville Slugger
Sam Bat
I am sure there is even more, this was from me briefly going through some pics
Heres the kicker
Sometimes uses pine tar
Sometimes uses mota stick
Somtimes tapes the handle with white tap Sheffield Style
Sometimes tapes the handle with black tape
Sometimes uses nothing at all
Talk about inconsistencies lol lol
