Correction RBoitano - you were right on. After measuring the label it is 3 and 3/4 inches...making it an 83-85 model. Thanks for pointing that out...otherwise, it would have sat there for a while. Good stuff...now to do some more investigating...

Just got these from Japan.
Tsuyoshi Shinjo Old Hickory game used NPBL Bat( I was told by Old Hickory here ordered this style of bat from the start of the 2004 season) The bat shoes light use.
Norihiro Nakamura Game used Nike bat. The bat originated in the USA, so my guess is the bat was used by him during the 2004 spring training. He did not play in the MLB till the 2005 season.

2nd Cruz jersey of the month for me. This one is a 97 rookie jersey, too bad it was reused for most likely 98 spring training (number change and Jackie Robinson patch taken off).

Managed to get the pants that Wilson Betemit wore in the last game of the 08 season at Fenway to go with my jersey from that game. Put together I think they look great! (the cleats and bat are from the 08 season too) The pants are filthy and at the back have had lots of repairs done to them. The dirt from the jersey continues straight on to the pants!





And thanks to Brad at Shafran Collectibles I was able to pick up these two awesome helmets. A Betemit Game Used (Left Ear Flap) and the GU helmet from Juan Miranda's debut at the Stadium in 08. I love the blue paint chips along the Betemit helmet from where he racked them in between AB's. These photos are the closest I could find to photomatching them. The 4 of the 14 on the back of the Betemit is slightly raised and was trying to find something to match that but all I could find was a front view.

on the rocker jersey, i cannot read the third extra length tag. I can read one says "sleeve" and another says "body". what is the third added label for?

The tag is 1" extra sleeve end.

I just picked up four (4) Suspension helmets.

The Oilers helmet is a rare “Protective Products” helmet.
The 49ers helmet is a Riddell Kra-Lite II;
The Raiders is a Wilson helmet; and finally,
The Redskins is an old Riddell helmet that was reconditioned. The seller would not say who did the work but the workmanship is just awesome.

I may. I'll let you know. I am trying to whittle down my collection. 80+ helmets take up alot of room! Although when I came across these, I couldn't help myself. Now I just need to do a little research. They are definately vintage, it's the players that I am not sure about.
