yeah, that was a nice bounty of helmets sold on ebay. so what if they weren't attributed to hall of famers, pro bowlers or the like - nonetheless they were very nice variety of vintage lids and facemasks (wilsons, rawlings, bike, hard to find schutt masks, dungards, etc.) that would look great in any collection imo. hey jacuzzi - can you post or email me additional photos of the chiefs helmet (rawlings), both rams helmets and the michigan helmet? thanks!

Sure. Although, the Rams helmet in the background is not a game used helmet. I will also post a pic of another Michigan helmet I have.

Of the helmets I picked up, below is the list of player numbers on the back or written inside. (I'll try to list them in order) I'm not sure who some of them may have been? The helmets appear to be the real deal but the players?

Falcons - 68
Falcons - 42
Falcons - 78
Colts - 36
Chiefs - ?
Chiefs - 76 or 70
Rams - 62? has a Bill Bain dymo tape that was loose inside the padding
Buccaneers - 42 written & dymo tape
Saints - 35
Jets - 89 & 39 written inside
Vikings - ?
Vikings - ?
Bears - 69

Just picked up a vintage Houston Oilers suspension helmet made by Protective Products. The helmet was issued and re-issued to several players because written inside the helmet are the numbers 50, 15, 6 and perhaps 10.
