I agree Jack Morris should be in before Schilling.

That resume looks pretty good if you ask me. I think he is Hall bound for sure. Probably not a first ballot but he will get there.
Jack Morris deserves the call before Schilling.

I don't have any photos of it to post at the moment, but I've got a 2001 Louisville Slugger R205 from Schilling's time with the Diamondbacks.

Mussina had 270 wins for his career. He was a good pitcher for many years but I would hesitate to call him great at any point of his career. Schilling was a good pitcher throughout his career and was dominant for 3 seasons. His post season resume and 3 World Series rings(all of which he was a key contributor to) give him a clear edge if either were to go into the HOF.

I would definately hope and think Schilling would get in before Mussina. Curt's accomplishments far out way what Mussina has done. Mike is not a big game pitcher and how many world series titles has he won ? The only thing Mike has going for him is 300 wins and some gold gloves.

    Mike Mussina

    5x All-Star selection (1992, 1993, 1994, 1997, 1999)

    7x Gold Glove Award winner (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2008)

    See above for Schilling's stats.

I think I posted this before but this is his workout boot for his bullpen session before the bloody sock game in 2004. The boot was too heavy so they decided to do the surgery and we all know how that worked for our Sox.

Lokee and kellsox have it right....

Not a first round Hall of Famer......but he WILL be elected eventually, and probably deserves it. He was clutch when he had to be, and that's what it's all about.

But if I hear the miserable backstabbing bastige say ONE MORE derogatory thing about his ex-teammate Manny.....I'll change my mind.

If you don't think he's one of the best big game pitchers, tell me who has been better.
    From ESPN.com

11-2 record, the best of any pitcher with at least 10 decisions, and 2.23 ERA in 19 career starts.

    Lowest postseason ERA*

    Curt Schilling 2.23
    Orel Hershiser 2.59
    Jim Palmer 2.61
    John Smoltz 2.65
    Whitey Ford 2.71
    *Minimum 15 starts

Don't forget what he did in the 01 playoff also(3 wins vs the Yankees)

No way. Sure he came up big against the Yanks in '04, but that was pretty much it. Beckett in '07 was better.

3,000 + strikeouts = instant HOF. Oh wait a minute - Blyleven. Never mind.
