I really would like to add an 08 Gators jersey or helmet, but don't even have an idea where to start looking. I will be in Gainesville this weekend, do they sell them at the team store?

I haven't ever seen any of the 08 jerseys for sale at the store. I did see quite a few of the players leave the stadium with family after the championship celebration with their jerseys slung over their shoulders - doesn't bode well, but I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I come across anything.

I'm pretty sure all they sell in Gainesville is racoon hats and eye patches.

im new to this site and i mainly collect gators autographs. i also have a couple baseball and football jerseys and i have nice collection of former gators game used bats. i'll try and post some pictures tomorrow.

Being hated for being so good is half the fun!

I don't hate Ohio State at all. They've never done anything that's impacted my life except help the Gators win national titles in two different sports. And FSU? I just find it hilarious that their tag line is "unconquered."

Honestly, my hat is off to Auburn, they beat us fair and square two years in a row, one of which we still went on to win a national title. On top of that, they have some of the classiest fans in the SEC - no sarcasm intended at all. I've never met a group of fans as pleasant to be around as Auburn fans - particularly after beating us in the swamp, they were great sports.

Hey, man, thanks for responding. Great collection and website! I'd love to put my collection on a formal site one day when I get the time. I really like how you have so many pro jerseys of former players. I really hope to find a Chris Leak Bears jersey one day (yeah right, I know). He and I are both from North Carolina originally, and he started UF when I did and won the title during my senior year.

I also plan on having a formal Gator room once I move out of my apartment and into something more permanent (that is if the market ever turns around). I'll definitely let you know if I come across any more helmets. They did have them around this time last year in the gator sportshop up in Gainesville for $300 a piece. I just picked up a couple of game-worn basketball jerseys I'll add to the webshots once they arrive.

It's not every day I come across another Gator collector. Do you know of any more out there?
