Cordova and Spartakid, thanks for the kind words! The Doby glove is definitely the centerpiece of my collection now and I have always dreamed of having a Doby item. I am looking for a Doby signed item if anyone out there has any, please drop me an email as I am going to build a display around the glove.

Picked up this Woodrow Dantzler Dallas Cowboys Jersey from 2005. One of my favorite's due to the quarterback sleeves and custom shortened. One of my favorite Clemson Tigers....thanks to Gerald Lee for a smooth transaction.

Obviously I love the jersey as Woody ranks right up on most Tigers' fans favorite athletes list, but it's interesting why he would have "QB sleeves" on a #20 jersey. QBs must be numbered 1-19, so they obviously knew he wasn't going to wear this jersey and play QB. Maybe it's just how he likes the feel. Who knows.

I just picked up the Larry Doby GU glove from Mears after the auction. The glove came directly from the Doby family along with a notarized letter from his daughter. Needless to say I am pretty excited as a big Indians fan! Thanks to the guys at MEARS for a great transaction.
