Yeah, I made a mental note of that after reading the game recap. Its still a sweet lookin bat.

I'm not surprised by the "omission/error"... Last year the same thing happened, where Callaspo's bat was used by Miguel Olivo... And, these are the same people that listed yesterday "Albert Collaspo Game-used Pink".. I think thats Alberto Callaspo, sheesh.

I sent them an email asking what number (numbers) were wrote on either end. Also told them what I description should say, doubt it gets changed. I would probably bid on it at half that price. Hard to justify 300 when I wont give near that for a bat he did use!

Just seen the Royals put theirs up. Got a little excited when I seen the Ankiel, then remembered he was injured. Bat was used by Mike Aviles. Of course they don't mention that in the auction. You have to enter the holo number to get the info.

its a great cause as always but i think the bats are overpriced, you can get hammered gamers of most of the stars for half the price. I have 2 pinks in my collection but im out this year unless the prices drop

Based on the pink bats I tracked in 2009, prices were down quite a bit from 2008. A lot of the bats I watched went unsold multiple times through many price drops from $300 down to $100 and in some cases even down to $50 starting bids.

They are going to go up for at least certain stars. There are a few bats that I need that I cannot otherwise find so I am going to do what it takes to obtain them.

First batch of the '10 pink bats have hit MLB.com auctions..most start at $300 and up, David Wright biggest name as of now..Jay.

Each year it seems like players get more and more creative with bat colors. This year I've seen more red bats and Tyler Colvin has the criticised "smoke" finish bat.
