Jacoby Ellsbury has been using Jed Lowrie Rawlings red ring bats with Jacoby's number 46 stickered on the knob. Lowrie is injured and is on the DL right now.

As we have noted other cases of players using teamates' bats, it looks like Big Papi aka "Big Pop-Up" is trying to break out this weekend by using JD's bat in the pic below. I saw him using a blonde, red ring Rawlings a few times this year and thought it might be ellsbury's, but it is a Drew model that Drew never uses (usually a blonde LVS). Ortiz has been a 34.5 inch bat guy for years, but I bet that Drew bat is a 34 and at most 32 oz. Didn't seem to help him catch up to the balls though!
