    Re: June Pick Ups

Just got this in today, special thanks to fellow forum member Rich, for a flawless trade.

Dustin Pedroia game used home jersey from his 2008 A.L. MVP season.

The jersey shows some really nice game use with, puckering to the numbers, some loose threads on the outside and inside of the jersey, heavily worn interior wash tag and what looks like a dirt stain that has been previously washed. The jersey is also MLB and Steiner authenticated.

    Thanks, Bobby

A couple of good, cheap items....

A Chris Duncan 1999 M110 - that is likely from his first season in professional baseball at Johnson City. GREAT early Dunc - with typical heavy tar...as you can see, I am in the process of repairing a crack thru the label.

Next is a set of 2002 Darryl Kile remembrance wrist bands. These were made by Rawlings for the Cardinals after Darryl passed away during a Chicago series...I have only seen one other pair, and have been patiently waiting for another to hit the market.

I'm pretty stoked I just received my first descente O's jersey. I've got a pretty good start on my favorite O's of the late 70's to early 80's.

    Here's my O's collection.

I have dreamed of owning a Derek Jeter game used jersey since I started collecting and I finally have one. This is the jersey Derek wore for the opening game of the 2009 Spring training season, photo day in Tamapa, and for the first two games vs. the Cubs every played at the New Yankee Stadium. Jeter had the first reordered Yankee hit ever at the new Stadium. Have found over 40 photos that match the jersey perfectly!

Here is my second Edwin Jackson with the first. My newest addition does
    not have a taped handle.

I now own two of the five of these bats that were made in 2008, thanks to BMH for
    the info.

Edwin had a total of eight bats made for him while in Tampa Bay.

    Quote from BMH.....
We've made a total of 8 bats for Jackson.
    3, Maple, I13C, Gwynn Finish, 34/31, 5/07
    3, Maple, I13C, Black, 34/31.5, 4/08
    2, Maple, I13C, Black, 34/31.5, 10/08

This is my 250th Devil Rays bat!!!

I cannot get the pics downsized enuf, I need to go to another pc......

I emailed him today as it's almost 3 weeks now and will see what he says.
    - Hey Dave,

    - Check my reply to Tom and let us know what Brett said.

What signs did you pick up?

    Tom

    Hey Tom!

Thanks for the reply!....I actually orderered a seat BACK not an actual seat! I realized after the post I typed it in wrong....

I placed the order almost 4 weeks ago and emailed Brett two weeks ago today asking him what the deal was. He told me I should have it within 7 days, but its been two weeks and nada!...I will email him again today...there are times when they can be REAL SLOW and other times where you get the item within 3 business days...

In addition to the seat back, I got the "Be Alert Fouls Balls" sign and "Interfering With Players Is....." sign.....

    How about you?

Personally, I'll use it simply for display purposes with my other memorabilia from Memorial Stadium (seats, signage, etc.). I spent a lot of time at that ballpark and have a lot of fond memories.
