Jose Reyes Game Used 2006 All Star BP Jersey, Photomatched.
Photomatched or stylematched? Would love to see the photomatch when you have a chance.
Always looking for top NBA game worn items of superstar and Hall-of-Fame-caliber players (especially Kobe, LeBron, MJ, Curry and Durant). Also looking for game worn items of all players from special events (e.g., All Star Game, NBA Finals, milestone games, etc.). Please contact me at gameusedequip2@hotmail.com. Thank you.
What do you mean? He only wore one of these. Its a direct Photomatch, getty has a ton of pictures of him wearing this exact jersey.
I don't mean to stick my nose in here, but each player is issued 2 of these shirts. They wear them for workout day, the HR derby, and batting practice the day of the game. It stands to reason that Reyes may have worn both of the 2 issued to him. That means calling this a photomatch may not be completely accurate. I know Andrew Lang has an Alfonso Soriano BP shirt from 2006 with MLB holo listed in the database as game used, and I think you know about the other. So although he is also in the photo you posted with the Reyes photomatch, without a stain, pulled threads, etc calling Drew's shirt a match may also be a stretch.
I have to agree with what is being said....not exactly about the Reyes, but about photo matching in general.
I see a TON of style matching being called "photo matched". Maybe I'm a bit more picky than most...but without an exact pulled thread, stain, dirt..etc I don't see many photo matched jerseys.
Bu then again, I'm green. Maybe my views will change overtime. I doubt ti though. I'm stubborn

Look the neck line on my jersey and then the one in the photo, I would say its a match.

I see the black piping of the neck in some kind of stylized curve, but I do not see a photo match, only a style match. Can you elaborate on the photo match?
The curve matches the one in the photo where it overlaps, and if you line up the NATIONAL with the Neck Line You can see that they both line up at the beginning of the I.

That's the sort of thinking I refered to in my 1st post on this subject matter.
Who's to say the other jersey issued to Reyes doesn't match up identically....in regards to the neckline. It makes for a good style match, but calling it a photo match is a bit of a stretch.
Alright I can respect that, The MLB holo does say it was worn the 11th and the photos are from the 11th, so Just adds to it for me. Kyle can you help me out here at all?

It's not that you're not too picky, green, or stubborn, it's that you're right: style-matching is not photo-matching.
