genius, nice vintage Notre Dame piece. Now I know who bought that jersey (I got the notification from collegejersey when they listed it). Did they include a letter of provenance from the original player or owner of the jersey? Old school ND pieces are few and far between - would love to see pics of any other vintage ND stuff you have.

No. Where did all of the uniforms go? ND jerseys from the "Ara era" were so plain and flimsy (unlike tough to get Steeler jerseys for example which are beautiful durenes). Seems like they would have just given them all away to a Catholic high school. Love this one, have only two others (a Faust home jersey and a warmup from the UCLA basketball game where the Irish broke their 88-game streak). I've posted both of them somewhere on this site!

Here's an article I found several months ago regarding Scott's initially receiving the number 36 and then asking for his no. 60.

If this article is accurate, Scott never wore no. 36 in Spring Training.

For some reason, this is my first post to the 'pick ups' threads... Just got this in the mail today and it was better than I expected.

Carl Crawford's helmet from 2007 (his 2nd All Star season, .315 Avg). Show really nice use, signed really boldly (comes w/ his LOA from Elite for what it's worth)...

So I just recieved that last bit of Thomas stuff that I have purchased over the past two months. Thanks goes out to a couple members here who helped me add some depth to the Thomas collection. The Rawlings bat is cracked but has an indentation from where Thomas hit the ball...perhaps it cracked because of this. The Mizuno wristbands are from before he signed his Reebok deal. Both pair of batting gloves are attributed to his MVP years with the white fingered gloves being signed. The locker nameplate is from opening day 2004. Hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do.

This was just worn on June 25th when Jordan Zimmermann had the task of being the Nats starting pitcher during John Smoltz 1st Red Sox game.

Jordan Z. was the winning pitcher. I picked the jersey up the next day and the jersey was soaken wet.

Got this in the mail today. MLB.com says this bat was used on July 25th 2008, additional information was this: "BOTTOM OF 3RD INNING - GARY SHEFFIELD HIT A SINGLE TO LEFT OFF OF PITCHER GAVIN FLOYD." 3 stickers are on this bat. 1 MLB homlogram, 2 Sheff hologram, and 3 Mead Chasky hologram.
