The bat does not have much use at all but I sacrificed use (and your new Benny game used bat ) to get this nickname variation. As I mentioned it took 9 years to find one and this guy had it in one of the next towns over from where I live. Makes me wonder what other Met treasures lie in the suburbs of Long Island.

After 9 years of searching I finally found a Benny Agbayani Big Kahuna bat to go with Stumpy and Fonzie. Now if only I can find a Bell Yo Yo Yo bat.

I think the 2000 Mets lead the league in nickname bats.

Just picked up two additions to my collection:

1998 Frank Thomas Russell home jersey that originated from the Frank Thomas Foundation

2008 Paul Konerko Majestic Cool Base jersey. This jersey is photomatched to the last two months of the season plus the one game Division playoff game against the Twins and the home games during the Divisional playoffs against the Rays. At least a dozen photos on Getty reflect this.

Thanks Bert! I just love it when they are caked with tar, and covered with ink transfers and cleat marks. I just wish I could get a decent picture of all the seam impressions. I even tried to hold it at an angle with the light, but only a couple ever show up real nice. I'm not exactly a camera wiz which doesn't help.

(2) 2002 Alfonso Soriano bats. very heavy use, with heavy tar, tons of deep seam impressions, and several ink transfers.
