I just purchased a small lot of Tigers equipment, which contained a 1985 Alan Trammell game worn home helmet and a 1995 Lou Whitaker game worn home alternate helmet from his final season. These are keepers are will fit very well into my Trammell and Whitaker collection.

I finally landed my Lance Parrish grail. Game used catchers mitt. The glove shows tremendous use!!!!

That is an iconic glove! Please keep me at the top of the list if you are ever going to sell it.

Charlie - Thanks, I had a blast watching every at bat for those 8 games. Those other stats (non-HR) were fun to compile. Had a suggestion to have a small engraved plaque made for those stats to display by the bat.

As some of you know I was able to add a Holy Grail item to my collection recently. After a few years of collecting it is easily the coolest thing I have ever bought. I picked up an MLB authenticated 2011 Miguel Cabrera SAM bat. With lots and lots of help from Rich, we were able to match it to Miggy's only walkoff homerun in 2011 on 9/3 and also to his homerun on 9/4. The bat was then broken on 9/5.


Used in every at bat from 8/29/2011 to 9/5/2011 - 8 games
Cabrera went 12 for 31 with this bat which is a .387 avg on his way to a batting title (.344)
2011 Hits # 153-164. Career Hits # 1553-1564
2011 RBIs # 84-93. Career RBIs # 963-972
4 of his league leading 48 doubles. Career # 333-336
2011 HRs 25-26. Career HRs 272-273
Career HR # 272 was Career Hit # 1562 and Career RBI # 967 (walkoff)
Career HR # 273 was Career Hit # 1564 and Career RBI # 970-971

My most recent acquisition (sorry if you already saw it in the February pickups thread):
Cabrera signed GU cleats from 2010...and now the home and road pair go great together
