Hello, Tigers collectors. I was wondering if one of you could help me out? Does anyone know how to get in contact with bidder "eggman23" on mlb auctions? Or perhaps you are him/her? If yes, could you email me (seminolecollection@gmail.com)? I would like to speak with you about a jersey you purchased. Thanks! Al
P.S. I just made my first Tigers GU purchase, and I will post pictures in this thread as soon as it arrives. I can't wait!
always looking for Detroit Tiger world series player bats......game used 2006 & 2012 world series items....Quintin Berry bats....also interested in Ivan Rodriguez bats... Thank you, Dale tigers1984@comcast.net
I have to thank Mike Specht and Lon Lewis for the addition of this beauty into my collection. This jersey was recycled to the minors, as almost all of this era were, where the name and number were removed. It was agreed upon by Mike, Lon and myself that the original name outlined on the back was clearly JOHNSON and the number was clearly 20. With absolute certainty this was Howard Johnson's original jersey from 1984 (most likely 1985 as well), and Set 2 which was worn in the World Series, Lon worked his magic to return the jersey to its original form. Thanks again to Mike and Lon.
Picked up some Jackson items, hopefully he comes back soon.
What year is the Detroit Stars Negro League Jackson jersey from? The Tigers have had so many of these that I can't recall which style goes with which year.

In an attempt to lift the spirits of disappointed Tigers fans, I present you with matching 1988 Set 1 batting practice jerseys of Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, and Sparky Anderson.
I've seen way too much ajack in October over the past few years and not enough Yankees!!! Sweet jersey though! Austin Jackson is beloved by the bleacher creatures, we have a special roll call just for him! Clap clap clap clap clap
Picked up a few Torii Hunter items recently. He's an easy guy to collect because he is so fan friendly.
- "Fiesta Tigres" 8/3/2013 Jersey. Torii hit career homerun #309 in this game.
- 2013 ALCS broken bat. Broken in game 2, which now is remembered as the game Torii flipped over the wall in right field at Fenway. Great usage and grass still stuck in the tar.
