Picked these up today.

My first bat from a HOF member.

Two very nice Cub pickups.... Now you need a Dunston and a "pick a rotating third basemen" and you have a great Cubs infield collection.

where did you get the helmet? i am always looking for helmets but don't find them?!

I actually met Boomer at a local card show. He had 2 game used bats (one of his and the Bernie Carbo I have on the sale thread) and the helmet. He told me how he used the helmet also in the field because he didnt like to bother chaging hats every inning. He's quite a charicter. Anyway it appears the helmet cant be from his playing days because of the style so I dont know when he would have used it. The bat he had signed game used 1968 but its actually from the 72-75 labeling period. Its a model p89 stamped on the bottom which is 68b upsidedown so Im sure thats why he thought it was from 1968. I also got a late 70s red sox partial team signed ball from him. A very cool experience.

Just got this jersey in from BPH. Its my first pickup in a while. with the help of Matt AKA triplexxx, I was able to photo match it to the night Victorino ran over Paul Lo Duca, as a pinch runner in the 8th inning of there 5-9-06 game. I remember them showing this photo on sports center and Neal Everett calling him the "Flyin Hawaiian"....The jersey is AWESOME!!!!!!

I dont see how thats a definitive photo match. Ity's an obvious style match, but how can you pin it down to that moment?

2003 Dexter McCleon Chiefs jersey (although the collar tag says 02, he didnt play for them in 02). Of course the LOA is from Pro-Am so who knows what the legitimacy is.

I dont see how thats a definitive photo match. Ity's an obvious style match, but how can you pin it down to that moment?

Not sure if you opened the PDF, but I have arrowed the very distinct pin striping. If you look at the pictures all the pin stripes line up with the lettering. Also the pin stripe count is correct. I have never seen two pin stripe jersey exactly the same. An my jersey and the one in the play are a perfect match.

Been saving up for a Bench bat so haven't been buying too much.

I think its hard to tell from your photo where everything lines up definitively...dont think you can call it a photo matvh from that photo I'd like to hear others thoughts

The fact that the pin stripes match up from the sleeve to the shell of the jersey, in addition to all of the numbers and letters, it looks like a good match to me. Pretty cool to not only match the jersey, but to match it to that particular play is outstanding. Congrats! I'm no expert, but looks good to me.
