Manny Acta was hired as manager by the Indians. He got a 3 year deal. Good move for them both.

I'm not all that familiar with the Nationals, or Acta. I'm sure he's a great guy, but a look at his managerial record shows that he had a young, not-very-talented team. What did he do with them? He made them worse. (I'm just going on winning percentage here, which went down all 3 years.)
So now he's in charge of a young, not-very-talented team, and everybody thinks this is a good move?? I must be missing something. If we are going to hire a re-tread, why not one that at least has had some success?
