Here's my new bat rack that I just finished for some of my Reds gamers. It's not a complete room make over, but it's a start!

Re: Red Home-made Bat Rack
Thanks. I drew the plans in the work shop as I went. Kind of the way I cook...I have an idea then I make it up as I go. As for stress on the knob, I don't think that's a problem. When I was at the Louisville Slugger museum, they had some bats hanging that way.Comment

Dave - That's awesome. I'm a huge Red's fan and that would look sweet in anyone's Red's collection. I can't imagine how much time that took you to build.Comment

Re: Red Home-made Bat Rack
Very nice looking rack you have there!
Usually when I say or think that, it has nothing to do with game used bats, but instead has to do with.................
Seriously, how did you get the decals?Comment

Re: Red Home-made Bat Rack
camarokids - my eyes are up here! anyway, thanks for noticing my rack
As for the decals, I printed them on decal "paper" I found at http://www.beldecal.com/wood_decals.cfm Its a little over a dollar per sheet, but it was really easy to use and I liked the results.
chakes89 - nothing special about these bats, I just threw them on there for the pictures. Still not sure which bats will go on there and which will go on the other bat racks. The bats in the pictures from left to right are:
J. Francisco
A. Rosales
C. Dickerson
D. Mesoraco
J. Rijo
B. Larkin
R. Freel
L. Quinones
J. Oliver
G. Braggs
H. WinninghamComment
