    Posted this in the Royals thread. Bought this bat at fanfest. Photomatched it to game 4 and 5 of the 2015 World Series. Lo-Cain. Used on bases loaded double in the top of the 12th.

    I would certainly would pay a premium for a world series bat but have gotten some for real deals in the past. Since typically these are limited runs (3-4 per player unless you're Salvador Perez who got 8) they tend to be very rare compared to regular game bats.

    I think GI bats in general are tremendous autograph opportunity bats as they look really nice displayed. I'm not a fan of autographs on GU equipment but I have a NLCS GI bat I'd love to get signed and hang. I personally would think of the WS GI bats the same way just with perhaps slightly more premium.

    What do guys think game issued World Series bats are worth that were never used? Bats like Perez and Murphy. Nothing for sale here, and I know there only worth what someone would pay. But are they worth collecting? Do you ever think they will go up in value?

    You got the ws bat of the hero and I got the one from the goat.

    These birch bats have no grains and it's very hard to match the bat to the photos.
