Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
I have never posted on this thread before but always keep on eye on it as the Bears jerseys are great to see.
As most of you know I am a 49er collector but our new coach was a Bears QB for many years.
I present a 1991 GU photo-matched Jim Harbaugh home jersey. Matches up with this wire photo from 1991.
The jersey was evaluated by our resident expert dave Miedema who agreed and is in the process of writing me an LOO.
What does everyone think?
Aloha and Happy Holidays!

Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
Here are two of my newer pickups side by side. The Stephen Paea 1st sack jersey and Henry Melton's home jersey. I'm pretty sure I can photo match the Melton to a game during his rookie year through the last home game he played in this year. The jersey is absolutely trashed with all kinds of hit marks, repairs, a layer of 2 sided tape stuck in both shoulders and excessive discoloration from deodorant in both armpits. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics. When I get time I'll get down and dirty with this Melton and a decent camera.
Included in the post are both the Paea and Melton jerseys side by side...after Paea's first regular season game and on my kitchen table. ENJOY!__________________

Nice scores, Scott! Get some detailed pics of those babies up, stat!
Speaking of doubling your fun, here's a couple from the recent 8D Auction:
Johnny Knox game worn, Oct. 17, 2010 vs. Seattle
Earl Bennett 2010 throwback uniform, worn vs. Green Bay and Minnesota.

Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
Hung out with Scott today and got to see our Bears. Thankfully, a number of the players that I knew came though with some gear which I had asked for during the season. Jerseys are great, but pricey for me so I take whatever the players give me which are mainly practice used or game issued cleats and/or gloves. Sometimes I get some game used items, but I need to do some research on them to see. My haul:
Lance Briggs cleats:
DJ Moore cleats:
Chris Conte cleats:
Corey Graham game issue cleats:
Matt Spaeth cleats:
Tyler Clutts cleats:
Caleb Hanie cleats:
Andre Smith cleats:
Levi Horn cleats:
Stephen Paea gloves:
Thanks for looking!

Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
Here are some recent picks ups. 1st, we have a Henry Melton home jersey that I've been able to photo match from last season all the way through the final home game he played in against the Chefs this season. The jersey has been beaten to hell, has repairs all over the place and really has too much 2-sided tape stuck inside both shoulders. 2nd, we have a game used home J'Marcus Webb jersey. It's was worn against the Chefs and possibly another team. Still looking for photo matches.__________________

Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
Desi, it was great hanging with you today. I didn't get a huge score of cleats like you, but I did get to meet Stephen Paea. In a previous post you'll notice that I had his 1st career sack jersey, well, I no longer have it. Paea is a REALLY cool guy and we made a trade. He got his 1st career sack jersey and I got his International Series game jersey from London, his practice jersey and a pair of used gloves. Both jersey are signed. I'm glad he's happy, but I still think I got the better end of the deal.Either way, I now one of his biggest fans.

As I mentioned in an opinion based reply to Dave's post (before the form police slapped the cuffs on), it all has to start from the top.
So, Happy New Year Jerry... you jagbag!

Re: Show Me Your Chicago Bears Stuff.......
No event, just a couple guys 'bugging' the players for stuff after locker clean-outs.
And, btw - more news on the home front! Next on the Unemployment list - Martz...
