It should also be noted that the 03 alternate jersey was the first year the Reds wore that style and the Inaugural GABP patch was worn on them in 03, not the Running Man patch. The Running Man patch wasn't worn on the alternates until 04 so I have no idea why it would be even on an 03 tagged jersey.

I own a Dunn alternate from 03 which came from an impeccable source. It only has the GABP patch on the left sleeve and nothing on the right. That is how the jersey should be. I have no idea why yours has the Running Man patch too but I don't think it's supposed to.

Not that it counts for much, but even Dunn's 2003 bobbing head with the Sunday alternate jersey only has the 2003 Inaugural patch on the left sleeve. I checked several sources and I can not find one photo with any patch on the Reds right sleeve in 2003.

Is this your jersey? It's the only one I found with patches on both sleeves.

It's difficult to tell from your photos (because there isn't one of the entire jersey) but it appears to me that the 2003 patch is on the right sleeve. I say this because the Mr. Reds patch appears above the Russell "R" logo which is on the left sleeve. Every photo I can find from 2003 shows the 2003 patch on the left sleeve not the right sleeve.

Does the year tag say "Property Of" above the "Cincinnati Reds-03" tag?

I can't see if it does or not from the picture you provided

Ok I got this jersey in the recent GUU auctions, its an Adam Dunn 2003 alternate. I've been working on finding pics to match it with. From all the pics of the Reds I can find in these jerseys they didn't have the Reds mascot on their sleeve in 2003. Just the innaugural patch. In 2004 they have Mr Red patches. Can anyone explain how this jersey has both. I'm hoping I'm just missing something.
