Two Matsui game used bats along with his batting gloves.

Was a little perturb when I saw the bats - they are two differents kind. One was his normal ash version which he used during the game and the other one is black version which I was told he used during batting practice.

I think Alex Rodriguez has the same bat method with the yankees. His black bat during the game and the blonde bat during batting practice.

If the Guillen bat was used in a game, as opposed to batting practice, it should be pretty easy to photomatch. I recorded into an excel file every AB that Guillen had in 2009 and the only game he used a Max bat was on April 9, 2009 against the Blue Jays. My notes from the game are as follows. ABs 1-3, Max bat, black barrel and natural handle (non-HD game, may have been Mariucci). If you want the entire excel file, I can e-mail it to you. He used SSK bats for most of his at bats last year.

2009-10 Alexander Ovechkin Washington Capitals Set 2 Game Issued Jersey with "A". This was mean to be Ovechkins Set 2 home red jersey, however once he was named Captain, they prepared a new jersey for him.

This would have been a nicer item to get sign by Ovechkin... I got his RUSSIAN authentic jersey signed when he was doing the Steiner show!

One of 12 pucks authenticated by MeiGray at the Winter Classic. I was at the game and watched to see how many pucks were used in the game and aside from the ones MGG collected, very few others were used in the game. There was one puck that was launched out of play that rolled to the monster and I could not see who got it, one puck went out of play toward the first base dugout and was actually retrieved by someone in the front row by the on deck circle, Scott Hartnell threw the last puck of the first period into the crowd behind the 3rd base dugout, and I saw each ref/linesman pocket a puck or two each throughout the game.

This puck was used in the second period and goes nicely with the jersey I got for my wife that was used that period.

Good week for picking up Erstad game used stuff. I got two 2009 bats with tons of use along with a early 2000s signed used bat. To top it off I got my first game used Erstad hat. It's authenticated. Note the 7 7/8 size!

Just wanted to post a few photos of my latest acquisitions.

Josh Thole 2009 Rookie Catcher's Gear including mask, helmet, chest protector, shin guards and catcher's equipment bag. (Interesting note about the shin guards is that I photo matched them to a set the Brian Schneider used during the 2008 Final Season at Shea Stadium. Note the number 23 silk screened on the bottoms. I guess even major league ball players get 'hand-me-downs' sometimes.

Josh Thole 2009 Rookie Jerseys - First Home, Road and Black Jerseys as well as Spring Training BP jersey with number 78. Also 2009 GU Black and Blue Hat.

Josh Thole GU Pinstripes complete with Inaugural Season Dirt intact.
