My son Noah is 12 and his favorite player is Phil Hughes. I was making a trade a couple of years ago and ended up having a Hughes BP jersey put in the deal for him, since then he has put together a nice collection. He was looking at this thread with me the other day and wanted to add his collection to it, he's very proud of it.

thats cool man ..i remember that 1987 team very vividly growing up in akron ive owned a couple indians jerseys from that year ...which was a good one for the tribe..i had a home brook jacoby and steve carlton and a julio franco road ...mell hall was a good player for them too

Loved him as a kid, his stance, his swing, he def had "swag" back in the day. I play baseball left handed now cause when I was younger I used to stand and swing like him, now 23 years later it just feels natural haha. Not exactly a role model by any means but he's still my fav baseball player. I have all his contact information to write him, just not sure what to say.
