    not necessarily a better pic, but here is Brett's 3000 hit bat from when it was in his restaurant. As far as baseball goes, this would be my holy grail item as well

    If you ever get to KC for a Royals game, make sure you go to the Royals HOF display in Left Field. The highlight is the bat and ball from George Brett's 3000th hit - as a GU collector, viewing this bat is worth the admission to the stadium - especially if you get the $8 seats. This is the most annhialated disgusting bat I have ever come across. Its beautiful. Compare that to Gwynn changing bats every hit. This thing is just a dream... I'd sell everything I own (TVs, appliances, furniture, clothes) to get this bat - if it ever were for sale... This thing is way more tarred than the "pine tar incident" bat.

    Bad cell phone pics, but you get the idea. I'll have to take my camera some day and get good pics of it.
