Rudi great bat. I love seeing bats from the 90's when they werent so popular. Cecil was one of my favorite guys back in the day. Always smiling and joking around and was one of the biggest tippers of his time. Price was always with him wherever he went on the road. How times have changed. Sad, sad story about Big Daddy.

my 1990 cecil fielder. the 51 HR season. (back before everyone started hitting 45+). fielder gave the bat to opposing pitcher duane ward after a jays/tigers game and inscribed it to him "d. all in my kitchen. all the best. big daddy". i got it from ward.

Here`s my 2006 Vladi Easton Gamer. I have a `98 Vladi Sam Bat that has very heavy use, innumerable Seam marks, is 35 inches & signed, the black color makes pics difficult though. I enjoy your Bat pics...

i usually repair my own bats, but i think i'm going to leave this one alone. jeter used this bat for a while and stopped once he cracked it. i think i like it the way it is. however, the crack does squeeze together nicely and could be repaired to make it hardly noticeable.

Bulbus, Your Jeter Bat is perfect! The pine tar application is spot on for Jeter. You can see exactly where his hands gripped the bat. I wouldn't purchase a Jeter bat without the "rings" of pine tar as your bat displays. Have you cosidered having the handle repaired?
