My Akinori Iwamura Collection is Growing!
Thank you to Historic Auctions for the nice bat and fast shipping!
I received the bat today. It is only the second White Nike Bat of his I have seen hit the market!
I now have three bats of his and only have seen around 12 bats of his come up for sale!
Will post pics later on today!Comment

Re: My Akinori Iwamura Collection is Growing!
A month or two ago the only other white bat of his that I have seen hit the market went for $349.00 on ebay.
I got one of my red ones on mlb.com for $220.00 about three months ago. I think I got lucky......Comment

Who is the most popular MLB player in Japan? I will guess Matsui?
Three years is a long time to be away from home. Where else have you been stationed?Comment

Re: My Akinori Iwamura Collection is Growing!
I was thinking Ichiro after I posted Matsui.
But I watched a program (I can't remember where I saw it) about Matsui and how he has a museum over there that has his stuff from grade school on up. Even report cards from school. I am pretty sure a family member of his owns the museum.
Have you seen it?Comment
