    Yes they do. Go to a Michael's craft store. Test out the ink. Don't go with too fine of a point as I found out once as it looked thinner than a ballpoint on a baseball.

    That Billy Ripken sig above looks like a good thickness.

    Stay away from silver sharpies. My experience is that they come out very light compared to a paint pen.

    do they sell silver/gold pens with finer points? most of the autographs I've gotten using these have come out thick and they sometimes look like a mushed blurbed, unlike with black or blue ink.

    I used a silver colored paint marker (obtained @ Michael's) on this Bill Ripken TBTC clock jersey and it took fine:
