Re: May Pick Ups!!!!
I am sorry, 98 was not the only year they made these. 98 was the only year that LS made the centerbrand with a different oval as well as leaving off the MLB Logo. There were some other bats as well made in 2002-2006 that did not have the MLB logo either due to mistakes or player preferences. Players did use these promos though (without model numbers) in games at times.

There were some bats that he and some other players used in in 1998 and 1999 that were made without model numbers. 1998 was the only year LS made some bats without some and they were supposed to be promo bats but some of these bats made it into games instead of used a promos and giveaways.Leave a comment:

Re: Biggio Game Bat
Just wanted to post pics of a bat I got. I am a big Biggio fan and finally got a bat of his. It is one of the ones without a model number and it also has some stuff (maybe grass) stuck to the pine tar which I thought was interesting. I am just excited to own one finally. If you have a Biggio bat please post as well, would love to check out other bats of his. Thanks!
Why doesn't it have a model number?

Re: May Pick Ups!!!!
I haven't taken photos, but thanks to Joe ("Rays54"), I've got five new DBacks prospects bats, from 2010 ST. He was good enough to bring them up from Tucson to Phoenix, while in town for a family thing, and after a minor misadventure or two we managed to get together.
Kevin Mulvey, Sean Coughlin, Pedro Ciriaco, Collin Cowgill, and Ed Rogers - all bats I needed.
Thanks, Joe! Any time!Leave a comment:

Picked up another Helton Bat (KC Slammer) from his rookie year with a letter from the Rockies, and a pair of Carlos Boozer GU shoes from 2005 that I debating on keeping.Leave a comment:

Just picked up this Lynn Cain gamer. Has nice repairs and some marks. My best friend growing up was a Falcons fan so brings back some memories.

Re: May Pick Ups!!!!
Just got this jersey in the mail today! This is quite possibly a corner stone in my Frank Thomas collection. In Thomas's 18 year MLB career he hit 3 HRs in one game only twice in his career, once in 1996 and again in 2007. Ironically, 5 of those 6 home runs came off of knuckleballer Tim Wakefield! Who knows where the 96 jersey is and if it is even associated to that 3 HR game. This 2007 jersey is MLB authenticated to Sept 17th when Thomas hit 3 HRs (510, 511, and 512) in one game. I've had this jersey on my radar for years now, but never pulled the trigger. This jersey was purchased directly from the Blue Jays and arguably represents one of the last high points in Thomas's great career in his final full season of professional baseball. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
