I'm 16 years old and I've been collecting game-used for about 4 years.


I collected cards since I was 7 or 8, heavily between the ages of 10-14.

I have been "addicted" to getting IP Autographs since I was about 9 or 10.

And when I was about 11 or 12, I got my first game-used pair of gloves and sweatbands from UNC football players. It then turned into an every game thing for me to get 5-10 pair of gloves and sweatbands.

Then at a local Minor League baseball game I began getting bats and balls.

Then, finally, at about the age of 13 or so I got my first NBA items. I believe my first was a Gerald Wallace sleeve. Since then i have gotten many NBA items, and of course, UNC football items.

And when I was 15, I got my first GU jersey from Dwight Howard at a game.
I sold that in order to have some money in order to start a collection.

I am now buying items of my favorite players and teams, but mostly buying tickets to games where I can get Gu items in-person because that is my all-time favorite "hobby" now.

Receiving Game-Used items in-person is truly addicting.

I can't watch a game, see a S.I. magazine, or see a sports commercial without wanting the jersey from the player I see and quickly scheming a plan to get it.

I can't wait to go to many Carolina Panthers, UNC Tarheels, Atlanta Braves, and Charlotte Bobcats games this year in order to add some items to my collection.

Let me know if you have any Game-Used items from current and former UNC, Braves, Panthers, or Bobcats players...

Or any other cheaper Game-Used items that are good deals.

43 yrs old and have been collecting cards and then gamers since I was 8 !!!!!!

51 in November. Bought my first game used jersey at the Orioles 1997 Fan Fest.

30 and I've been actively collecting since 2004.

I remember in 1993 reading an ad in Tuff Stuff (for you card collectors) that dealers were selling game used stuff. Once guy had my idol Pavel Bure's shirt for $2500. I had a Bure rookie card that was worth $25 and I thought that cost a lot of money! I couldn't imagine someone playing more money than it would cost for good condition Mickey Mantle card for a jersey but I knew I wanted it!

2 years ago,my wife bought me a Bure. I'd like to think it was the same jersey and that it was just my time to own it after 15 years.

56, and I've been collecting GU (mostly bats and jerseys) for 12 years.

15, going on 16.
Been collecting baseball cards since I was 7.
Been collecting autographs since I was 10.
Been collecting IP autographs since I was 13.
Got my first GU pair of batting gloves when I was 10, but didn't start actually collecting GU since I was 14.

I'm 54 and practically inactive at this point. Lots of reasons for that but I still look around. I started collecting bats in the early to mid 80s and dabbled at jerseys for awhile but mostly stuck to bats and Rochester Red Wings items.

Yankwood....the Rochester Red Wings??

Did you see Eddie Murray play there when you were a young lad? Were you a fan in the early 70's?

I'm 56 and have been collecting for 19 years. Started with basketball and Hawaii players of all sports. I've since sold all of my baseball uniforms and now only collect football jerseys of ex-University of Hawaii players.
