Well for what I paid if he did wear it even for a half an inning I stepped in shit lol. Either way I am happy onto the photomatching skills should be fun..Either way I am very pleased no holograms of any sort. What is the home made tagging??

Well this is always a tough thing to get into. Manny stuff is some of the most wodely available and can be one of the most widely questionable as well.

The big issue in 2004 was the massive, home made-looking tag that you see on his jersey's. From what I have found out, Manny ordered 100's of jersey fro 2003, 2004 and 2005 and would either wear one for every hal-inning, BP session, jog around the park and when he just sat around the house and call them "gamers".

Now that being said, there are a lot of very good examples that are totally legit.

I think as long as it doesn't have the MR24 holo and authenticity (that was through his website charity that no longer exists, and through ASI at the time) you have dodged a bullet there.

Its always tough, I have been burned before with Manny and never felt I could get a 100% auth piece of his (only cause I could never get a photomatch of the items I had).

So to sum up, try to photomatch it, it takes time but it is more than likely the ONLY way to ever get 100% certainty that you have a legit Manny "gamer"...

Good luck, if you do find the photo match, I congratulate you as it would then become a centerpiece in your collection...

Just picked this up either way I wanted his jersey it was advertised as a gamer the seller also sold another 04 a home and an 07 spring training jersey and pants..Looked up some info on hear and a lot was said about the Majestic Ramirez gamers just wanted some input on the Russell 2004..Here are pics ..Thanks in advance if you would like any other photos just drop me an email..
