    Justin (leagaleagle92481),

You asked why? The answer is because some of us in the DC area (and elsewhere) are big fans of these teams despite their lackluster records. I purchased the Willie Harris jersey for the simple reasons that I am a huge Nationals fan; I love the Senators' throwback jerseys that they wore against the Orioles as it reminds me of my youth; and because Willie Harris is one of my favorite Nats.

This stuff might be worthless to most folks in the hobby, but it is priceless to those of us who are passionate about these two teams. The bottom line is this - each to their own on what they collect.

Always lookng for Atlanta Falcons jerseys, World Football League uniforms, and Darren Lewis and Willie McGee game-used items.

I agree the players I collect for the Mets because I am a Mets fan are Doug Flynn ,Joel Youngblood ,Jason Isringhausen ,Bill Pulsipher and Paul Wilson. None of the above will sniff the Hall of Fame but they were the guys I liked.I wear my Mets cap when they lose to show my support. I had it on a lot last season and people said oh why are you wearing that they suck.I think it is great that fans stick by there teams. I always say anyone can be a Yankees fan. It takes a true fan to route for the Royals ,Pirates,Orioles. Look at the Nationals we have a few guys that live and die by the team. Great pickup on the Scott helmet btw

And that's the difference between fan and investor.

I got the Scott batting helmet from the Orioles today. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the helmets were signed as well:

My code is not showing up yet, either. However, when I had some jerseys from the first game at Nats Park it took a couple of months for them to show up.

I watched the game on TV and you could see the MLB holograms on the back of the helmets

    Sweet looking Jerseys...

I have seen MLB be pretty inconsistant about posting their hologram numbers...

I have actually had success emailing their customer service asking them whats what

Hi, I am new here and have recently started gaining interest in Game Used Memorabilia. I have been a long time card collector and for the money getting the actual jersey or bat seems much better...

I was the winner of the Adam Jones and John Shelby jersey's. I have a question though, the holograms are not showing up in the MLB database. How often do they update that? I kept typing in codes prior to mine and saw the most recent code was like 15 digits prior and it was for a game used item for the O's game on the 25th (night before the 70th Anniv game).

Here are some pics of the jersey's...

I couldn't believe I got outbid on everything. I didn't even receive outbid notices on some of them.
