Yeah most of the sam bats they made for him had this error. There was one that sold on ebay like a week ago that had the sam error. And by the way very nice bat greg!!!

Stamped 487 09 on the handle along with "32" and "Mauer". Same identifiers as the MLB authenticated 2009 Mauer gamer currently on E-Bay (not mine by the way) except this bat is uncracked.

This will be waiting for me when I get back from Bristol on Sunday.

A Rick Ankiel 1997 USA Baseball 18U National Team jersey.

He went 3-0 with a 1.82 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched and hitting .387 to tie Matt Holliday for 4th on the squad. Ankiel was named the All-Star LHP in the 1997 World Junior Championship; he was the lone USA All-Star on the Bronze Medal team.

A couple of minor pickups to report.

A small addition to my Jeremy Accardo collection: a 2009 locker name plate. The Accardo collection has hit a stand still, so at this point, I'm just happy to add anything to it



And another Jays helmet. In the MLB database it's listed as " 2007 #59 game issued helmet", but I'm confident in calling it a Curtis Thigpen (only player to wear #59 in 2007) game used (shows obvious use) helmet:

Finally got my white whale, waiting for this to arrive. A 2008 Albert Pujols game used Marucci bat. Has PERFECT characteristics. Light mid-tar from early in 2008, train track seam impressions, clean handle, and the correct knob markings.
