Office Display room taken over by baby on the way (Due at the end of November). I got laid off on Thursday, so I spent my first day of unemployment getting the new display room ready. Here it is! Let me know what you think. This is the loft/landing on the 2nd story at the top of the stairs. Entire collection is items from players from the 2005 NL Championship team. Always looking for bats I don't have!

Awesome Stro's stuff, what kind of rack/wall mount did you use to hang your bats? I am thinking about making the switch from bat tubes to something similar to that.

              Great display!

The bat racks are individual bat holders. They are the acrylic vertical bat holders as seen on ebay for about $5 each. They work great, and blend in very well.

I have one that they are working on now. I can put you in touch with the shop that does their fabrication if anyone is interested. Nice cases for high-end stuff are hard to come by and I like having these types of custom cases where you can display multiple items and rotate them.

Good luck with the construction Konerko- be sure to post the finished product! Hope it turns out well.
I would be interested in a case like that I have been looking but can not seem to find one for sale or online anywhere. Can anyone help?

The door was actually pretty easy... I bought the door itself for $5 from Habitat for humanity store... cut out the top portion, put in some glass, and then got the letters online

                              My back wall before.....

                              And after......

I cut down my bookcases and was able to add 116 more spaces for bats. The slots I created are 2 deep so I can stack doubles. Now I have room for about 600 bats in my room.
