In the last two weeks I have added so much new game worn gear that I redid my shelves, and realize I now need another one! I admit it is a problem I like having . Here is an updated photo from today. All helmets except the Steelers one are game worn. The cleats and gloves are either worn or issued.

Here is the last 5 weeks in the making. Fully blown Bears Man Cave, complete w/ 4 gaming systems, theater surround sound (built in), Custom built entertainment/display system w/ 55" HDTV. All new electric & lighting, and the rest of the works.

I did this entirely myself. Every screw, stud, drywall sheet, brush stroke, etc. I have stuck some before and after shots so you can see the fun it in all. Mind you, that from start to finish (minus the memorabilia) w/ everything included, I did this myself all for under $4000!

The only thing missing is the rest of the jersey displays along the blank wall, and new carpet, but those are coming soon.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've been in the construction business for 15 years, so to hire someone else seems absurd to me. Plus, I know what I'm doing, and what I am going after.

Man caves are always a work in progress, but at least now I can enjoy A) my basement, and B) enjoy my collection. Plus, its not to bad to show off either.

Matthew, what a fine job! Very nice paint colors and how your items are arranged is first class. Thank you for sharing the before and after.

I had my helmets, a few jerseys and bats in my office. My company was sold mid 4th Q 2011 so what I had on shelves in my office are now in the guest BR. I may borrow some of your ideas...very classy.
