My latest Posada. This one is from this season. He used the Maruccis almost exclusively for the first half of the season. Still haven't seen it as I am on the road as usual. Can't wait to see it in person.

Here are my October pick ups. Thanks to Andrew Lang for helping me acquire bats from these two players. I photomatched the Zim bat to a 2 HR game, unfortunately the bat wasn't used in either of the two home run at bats. Still a great bat though.

    Re: October pickups....

    Hello,
It has been a while since I posted to the 'pickups' section. I have been getting some great items but have not had the time to post. Here are a few photos of some of the items.
Caught up with R.A. Dickey after Saturday, October 2, 2010 game versus the Nationals. Had the following items signed and inscribed.
MLB Holo'd Game Used Baseball from his first win as a Met.
MLB Holo'd Game Used Baseball from his 1 Hit versus Philly.
MLB Holo'd Game Used Bat. (R.A.Dickey Model)
MLB Holo'd Game Used Bat (Jon Niese Model) from game where Dickey got two hits. Someone at the table said why are you having him sign the Niese model bat wherein Dickey replied "because I used it" and smiled. He said he remembered breaking it in that game. Great inscription.
MLB Holo'd Game Used Home Jersey. This is definitely his first Home worn jersey in the game against the New York Yankees. It was his second game as a Met and collected after the game. Unfortunately he did not pitch this game.
I had him sign and inscribe 8 other game used baseballs from games he won, a final road trip worn Road Jersey, two hats and my one year old daughters pink Mets jacket. I apologize to all the people who were waiting on line after me.

I have included a shot of Mr. Dickey showing us how he throws his beautiful knuckleball. It was one of the game used balls that I had him inscribe. He was a great and patient signer even though he had pitched earlier in the day. I thank him for a great night of signing as well as an exciting night every night he took the mound.

    Thanks for looking.

Got a great 1960's Charlie Neal GU bat. Started off in the Negro Leagues, was 1950's Brooklyn Dodger, and early Met.

Just picked this one up, has alot of visible game use. I am trying to match it to a particular game from the 1993 season.

Bob Bryan match used Prince tennis racket. This racket was used during the US Open Finals and the "#62, 63, 64, 65" inscription signify the rackets' use during the Bryan Brothers career titles 62 through 65. Tennis items are very uncommon and this is already my favorite in my collection.

I got lucky at the Titans/Broncos game (even though I had a glove ripped out of my hand after the game and another one that was tossed to me, then hit the field, then given to someone else), as I caught a glove from arguably the greatest college football player ever - Tim Tebow.

This is my first "pink" breast cancer glove as I know the players are encouraged to not throw them into the stands, rather hold on to them and let the NFL auction them for charity.
