Re: October pickups....
Great ball! Don't ever feel like you are gloating or bragging. I can't tell you how helpful it is to fellow collectors when people share their acquisitions and provide useful information about those items.

Re: October pickups....
Hello Guys,
I am sometimes apprehensive to post items here because I feel like I am gloating. I am so excited about this item that I want to share it with the forum.
September 17, 2010 Game Used Baseball (FJ080358)
J. NIESE THROWN TO J. HEYWARD, SINGLE, 3RD INNING
I have looked and looked all through the internet and have not seen a single example of a Jason Heyward MLB hologrammed baseball anywhere. It could be the only one around. A great piece of Game Used Memorabilia from the probable National League Rookie of the Year.
Please let me know if anyone has come across one in their travels.
Thanks,
Ron Michne Jr

Re: October pickups....
I finally picked up a Johnny Bench bat, an early career one - on my list for awhile.
1969 H&B S2 model - signed, with terrific use. This model was ordered just one time, a single order in early August of that year. It also came with provenance from Bench confirming it's use and that the bat originated from his personal collection.

Re: October pickups....
Hey Chris,
I believe Jane & Darla have/had that other Cueto Easton glove. I have seen three variations of the white Eastons. He used white leather/brown lacing/black lettering for his MLB debut and a few games after. I have one that is exactly like it, except the Easton lettering on the fingers is a natural white that matches the leather. Johnny actually confirmed to me that he used it during 2008, and inscribed it as such. The one Jane & Darla have is similar to both of those, but it has some sort of black rubber finger cap where your index finger would stick out.

I misspoke, I meant to say Easton not Mizuno. Was thinking of my Mesoraco when I typed that.Leave a comment:

The best part about your assortment... they are all rookie gamers. If Jackson continues to be amazing, you will probably have the best jackson collection around. Incredible.
PS. Im picking up my BWP Jackson Gamer today

Finally I get to post here! You've probably never heard of him, but he was one of my favourite Australia players.

Re: October pickups....
Just picked up a phtomatched Alex Rordriguez foul ball. Rodriguez fouled the ball off his foot on August 2, 1010. The ball is specailly marked (this baseball marked "A 90") as all balls were while A-Rod tried to hit his 600th HR. There is a black scuff mark on the ball from hitting off of A-Rod's cleat.

Re: October pickups....
Originally posted by AWA85I know what you mean, he started out with a few different Mizuno gloves. Josh has one that Cueto even inscribed, and I am guessing Nike jumped on the Cueto bandwagon when he had the big splash in a few of his games. My glove seems to only been used for a short period of time, but matching a few things up it did see game use a couple of times.
A dealer at Redsfest has had one for sale the past couple years but I forget what it looks like. I will have to look for it again this yearLeave a comment:
