Size 38 would be possible for Reynolds (I've seen pre-1992 jerseys of his from Seattle in that size). The tag design is very unusual, but not unheard of. I once owned a Russell Yankees gamer of pitching coach that carried a similar design of Russell tagging for his size 54 jersey. The odd style is probably related to the extreme sizing on both ends of the spectrum. Wilson, at one time, wrote or embroidered in the size on their manufacturer tags for anything over a 46 in MLB.

Also the Mariners only used Russell in 1992 for a month or so...they didn't like the Russell uniforms and reordered from Rawlings and wore their duds the rest of the season.

This tag appears on a Seattle Mariners "gamer" from 1992. Harold Reynolds I believe. Has anyone seen this tagging on a Mariners Jersey and does anyone know if 38 would be a little small. I have seen size 40's but never a size 38.
