Re: Game Used Spoon!!
I don't like to see bats or jerseys cut up, but I have seen some pretty cool looking pens made from bats, not like that spoon thet looks like it was carved by a 4th grader.Leave a comment:

I just saw the auction as well. Pretty crappy job of carving. Someone should tell the guy to sell the bats by themselves without ruining them.Leave a comment:

Re: Game Used Spoon!!
I'm still just absolutely stunned that somebody would get a $250-350 bat and turn it into a worthless spoon. Why not sell it for $250-350 then go to the home depot and buy a bunch of less-expensive billets to whittle and pocket $200+.
At least the card companies take a $250 bat and turn it into 3,000 $1 baseball cards.Leave a comment:

Re: Game Used Spoon!!
Just saw that... And its a usher doing this... a team employee... So he's swiping bats so that he can whittle them into unusable kitchen-ware
And frankly, its the most wobbly ugly imperfect spoon I have ever seen.Leave a comment:

Re: Game Used Spoon!!
Wow, his friend needs to be placed in a mental ward. Based on that, here is the description for my newest eBay listing:
"My friend works at the Louvre Museum in Paris and he gets a lot of Van Gogh paintings. The paintings are worth a lot of money. He then cuts the paintings up into these unpleasant looking paper dolls, which I am selling for $9 each. Happy bidding!"
