Does NFL auctions stamp or hologram of approval warrant the increase in price, and peace of mind?
I think it depends on the collector. Sellers always think it's worth more but to me it's not. If it's real it's real. I don't need a piece of paper to tell me. I've seen real packer coas with game issued jerseys. I've seen favre coas with fake jerseys. Coas from anyone are just a piece of paper. If it's from nfl auctions I assume it's real but go back and verify. If it's from a company in Vegas or an east coast auction house I assume it's fake and go about my research that way. I guess coas are just a starting point.
Hi guys,
Some great looking jerseys on this thread. Wish Pittsburgh released this amount of gear.
Questions, if u have a moment.... Where does Aaron Rodgers fit in your guys collection? Would he be a holy grail jersey? How many are released, home and away? I've seen a few. What would you pay and the going rate? Rodgers vs farve? I know there are a lot of suspicious farves out there.
Thanks for your time and postings of G.B. Gear.
I think we all have our holy grail for packers items. Rodgers is a huge cornerstone of any packer collections. What's the going rate? They sell for about 15k when you don't buy them from nfl auctions.
Favres have the stigma of fraud along with if they are legit, only being worn in 1 half for the later part of his career. 90s favre are very rare.

As a collector of MSU Alumni, I am extremely jealous of that Rison jersey. Hope some day you decide to part with it!!
Yeah, she's a beauty...and, worn during Super Bowl XXXI to boot. The crooked nameplate was an easy match. I gave up quite a bit for this one and is a mainstay in my '96 collection.
Sick home/road companion & you cant beat those team repairs!
Have the Pack ever used double tackle twill?
I think the Bears are in free fall now and should get murdered in Green Bay on Monday. 1st time we get an offense & now we cant play defense........I'm starting to feel like a Cubs fan
The era that I collect (96-present) do not utilize double tackle twill. Other older-era collectors may be able to chime in on this. I do believe that a proposed uniform change (1993) would have included a gold outline to both the home and road numbers, though. As a Packers fan, thank goodness this did not pass.
