First off, I want to say that not many people know me because I don't post very often. I have learned a lot from reading the forums and have met some great people, number one being Andrew Lang. I recently contacted him asking if there was a chance to add a certain item to my collection. He advised that he rarely has seen one, but he would look into it and let me know. Well, out of my surprise, I received an email from him stating that he could get the item for me! I personally want to thank him for all the help with getting this item and others that I have picked up over the last couple of years...
Now, for what I consider the centerpiece of my collection. Andrew was able to get for me Ryan Zimmerman's road batting helmet. I haven't been able to do much research as of yet, but it is believed that this helmet was worn for more than one year. The helmet has also already been photomatched. I am very lucky to add this piece because I have never seen one of his batting helmets for sale. Now for some pictures...
