2011 Jayson Werth game used bat. One of the first Werth Nationals game used bats. Broken April 2nd 2011. A BIG THANK YOU TO ANDREW LANG ! I put my request in with Andrew when Jayson left my beloved Phillies and he delivered ! Andrew is a class act - I cannot praise his efforts enough. One of the best in the hobby. Thanks again Andrew.

Not at all. I picked it up off eBay which is the last place I expected to find one. The colors are better than I expected and the side jewels are fantastic. It's also MLB hologramed.

I only collect game used bases with logo's printed on the bag so I'm always excited to be able to add something different such as this one.
Does it say which game it was used in?

Talk about a small world! I have the actual ball that was in play when Berkman was batting in the ALCS game 2 picture above. It's FJ251302, one of 55 balls authenticated from that game. It has the dirt stain from being fouled by Berkman into the LH batter's box.

I bought it from the Rangers' charity table at the stadium before the start of WS game 3. It was used for the first two pitches: a ball, and the foul ( incorrectly called a "foul tip" by the authenticator, a mistake in terminology he made throughout the game.) At first I thought it was used also for the preceding strikeout of Posada ( who didn't touch the ball), but a tape showed that Oliver apparently got a new ball after the strikeout.

Just got a 2009 White Sox GU jersey and pants of Mark Salas from a Negro League game (Chicago American Giants dark blue w/white pinstripes. No cost; outfit was acquired in trade from Edgar Martinez (platinum1) in exchange for an article for his website. Thanks, Edgar!

Balfour's jersey was not one of the 10 at the auction. The A's do let the players keep their jerseys if they want to. There also are usually only about 10 items at each auction.

Thanks, Dave! Morgan isn't my favorite either.....but is a 2X MVP and a major part of the Big Red Machine. The bat is sweet and 70's gamers of HOF players are getting a bit more difficult to come by.

How much did it set you back? It's a very nice jersey.
