Well, I think the 3 is supposed to be a 5 on my SAM Cano. The fact that it is a Cano22NY got me thinking. Afterall, he wasn't #22 in 2003 yet. So I looked up batch numbers and the 6000's were made in 2005. So, it's a 2005 rookie bat. Seemed to be a popular bat style for him from July through October. Better yet!

Just picked up a sweet 2003 SAM bat! Oldest Cano in my collection anyways. Niced shaved handle too. Thanks for helping me out Dave!
